Combination resume



This type of resume combines the chronological resume with the functional resume, in order to emphasize the most important both experiences and skills of the applicants.


Content:
  • Personal information.
  • Summary.
  • Summary of Skills and/or Experience.
  • Employment History.
  • Education.
  • Licenses. (optional)
  • Professional memberships, volunteer work, etc. (optional)

Used when:
  • Change of industry, function, or job.
  • Return to the industry or some specific industry sector.
  • Show special and unique accomplishments and aptitudes.
  • Do not want to highlight other parts of the employment history.

Tips:
  • Divide the experience section into several areas of expertise highlighting them all.
  • Demonstrate your accomplishments in previous jobs.
  • Write briefly about your employers, job titles, work years, and skills learned, trying not to emphasize it too much.
